Finishes

There are many possible finishes offering a range of results according to the requirements of the client.
The material used for any order always has to be processed with finishes that guarantee the best results. Polishing, smoothing, bush-hammering, sanding, brushing, or engraving are just some of the finishes that the workshop applies to materials.

GLOSSY FINISH

This is obtainedby brushing on a smoothed, sanded or bush-hammered base. It renders the stone pleasant to the touch, enhancing the natural qualities and intensifying the colour.

BUSH-HAMMERED FINISH

Bush-hammering creates a slightly corrugated surface with an aspect not dissimilar to the material in its natural state. The result is a rustic effect, and is usually used to create an anti-slip surface or for external surfaces.

SMOOTHED AND POLISHED FINISH

moothing is an intermediate stage of the polishing process. Its function is to render the treated surface perfectly flat, thus eliminating all imperfections.
The polishing of marble, stone and granite allows an extraordinarily reflective surface to be obtained, exalting the characteristics of colour.

FLAMED FINISH

This is a process that involves the thermal treatment of the material surface. It provides the stone with a rough aspect, highlighting the crystal lattice. Applied to granite and some marbles, this finish provides the material with anti-slip properties, rendering it particularly suitable for external use. The process can also be carried out with a water jet, which further enhances the surface colour.

SANDED FINISH

This is a surface treatment obtained through the use of a metallic grit that removes the top layer and softens the resulting surface. Thanks to its anti-slip properties, sanded flooring is mainly for external use.

WEN-PEC FINISH

An exclusive system for the processing of slabs, studied to exalt the colour and obtain a wengé effect, a soft finish that is pleasant to the touch and unique, suitable for all types of furnishing.

JUTE FINISH

A finish that lends a “fabric” effect to the surface of the slab, where the pattern provides a soft and innovating aspect to stones in general.

ROCKFINISH

A finish similar to split and natural rock, reproduced on slabs of marble. It is a rough effect that can be softened by brushing the surface without losing the three-dimensional look.

WOOD FINISH

A finish that resembles the classic pattern of brushed wood, applicable to compact marble and granite, as well as quartz and agglomerates. The resulting surface is easy to clean and therefore is particularly suited to kitchen worktops and indoor flooring.

TRANCHÈ FINISH

A finish inspired by a wood effect, lending a rough surface using a particular cross process that creates an original pattern.
